Jacquelynn Young Inspiration Scholarship

February 22, 2020

The Jacquelynn Young Inspiration Scholarship is awarded to graduating seniors of high schools in New York City, New Jersey, Connecticut, and surrounding counties. It has been in existence since 2004, honoring the memory of my daughter Jacquelynn, better known as Jackie to her family and friends. It serves as my daughter’s legacy and furthers her community spirit and faith in people.

Since 2004, one time grants have been awarded to many high school seniors from various schools. Some essays that were awarded the grants are posted on the website, www.jacquelynnyoung.com. Please read them and be inspired.

All grants are dependent on fundraising activities and products. I invite all upcoming graduating high school seniors attending schools in New York City, New Jersey, Connecticut, and its surrounding counties to apply for the one-time awards. Minimum award is $1,000, maximum $2,000. Grants are awarded to those who have great heart, community spirit, and a desire to further their inspiration through higher education. Rules are provided on the application and on our website.

Looking forward to receiving your application!
